After 2 - 2NT

• 3 shows a bad hand approx 5-6 HCP
• 3 shows not such a bad hand approx 7-8 HCP with Ace in my suit.
• 3 shows Max 9-10 HCP 6 diamonds with 4 hearts
• 3 shows Max 9-10 HCP 6 diamonds with 4 spades
• 3NT shows 2 of the top 3 with approx 10 HCP

After 2/2 - 2NT

• 3 shows shows a bad hand approx 5-6 HCP
• 3 shows shows not such a bad hand approx 7-8 HCP with Ace in my suit.
• 3 of your Major shows 2 of the top 3
• 3 of other Major shows Max 6-4 in Majors
• 3NT shows a balanced 10 count.

What to do when we open a weak 2 and partner bids another suit

Example: 2 - 2

• with 3 Spades we bid 3
• with 4 Spades we bid 4 or we splinter if we have a singleton and the Ace of our suit.
• with 2-3-6-2 distribution we bid 2NT
• with a 4 card side suit we bid it.
