This convention, or rather modification to the Michaels cuebid convention, is based on the same principles as the Michaels cuebid itself, except that a jump cuebid is game forcing.
It is based on the same principle of the Michaels Cuebid except that a jump cuebid of a Minor suit opening bid shows both Major suits and a jump cuebid of a Major suit promises the other Major suit and an unspecified Minor suit.
Example:
Your opponent on the right opens with 1 and you bid 2 promising both majors. This call can end in a partial score and is not a guarantee that you will finish in game.
Now when you use Super Michaels and your right opponent opens with 1 and you bid a Super Michaels 3. This bid not only shows both majors, but is also game forcing. Your partner may not pass until a game is reached. They can either bid game in their stronger minor or 3NT with a minimum of 1.5 stoppers in the other suits. These bids cannot be compared with the Leaping Michaels convention.
As with any other convention, you lose the ability for other meanings of 3.
Playing both Micheals would also mean losing 2 and 3 as other meanings. When the 1 is natural I think these are valuable tools but against strong club there are many other tools.
Another Example:
Right Hand Opponent opens 1 and you bid 3. This shows a game forcing hand with hearts and an unspecified minor.
