• 4 shows 13-15 HCP with 4 to 5 trump including 2 honors (J or better). This bid denies a singleton or void.
• 4 shows 13-15 HCP with 4 to 5 bad trump with no honors. This bid denies a singleton or void.

When using Inverted Trump Swiss a way to splinter is needed. Ambiguous Splinters work well here.

Also when using Inverted Swiss you can now use Jacoby 2NT for 16+

There are many ways to play these 4 level jumps. You could reverse the meanings of 4 and 4 or have them mean something slightly for example showing or denying 1 of the top 3 honors or promising number of keycards instead.
