Unit 390 Sectionals Masterpoint Race

The Unit 390 Sectionals Masterpoint Race was established in 2025 to acknowledge the performance of its members at unit sectionals held throughout the calendar year.

The list showing the current standings is updated after each Unit 390 tournament to reflect the masterpoints awarded at that sectional.

So far, the 2026 race includes masterpoints earned at four tournaments in the Unit’s annual cycle:
     – the New Year’s Sectional held in January
     – the Canmore Winter Sectional held in March
     – the 299er Sectional held in May
     – the Spring Sectional held at the beginning of June
     – the Labour Day Sectional held at the beginning of September

And the winners are …

With the completion of the final open sectional of the year, the 2026 Unit 390 Sectionals Masterpoint Race is all but in the history books.

Daniel Bertrand and Gordon Campbell took the lead in January and refused to give it up.

The race was a runaway and, since they partnered one another at every tournament, the tie at the top was inevitable. Dan and Gordon won six events at the three Calgary sectionals, earning over 110 masterpoints for the year. Congratulations!

Three hundred and seventy-five Unit members have won masterpoints at these tournaments. There is one sectional tournament remaining on the schedule — the 299er Sectional coming up on October 24. The official masterpoint list posted here will be updated after that event.

Please note that masterpoints won at the Non-Life Master Regional tournament, held in June, do not count towards this race.
